That was July

Can't believe it's gone already.

Basis stats

I saied 23 days in the month. I missed one day injured and on another the wind cam in late and I missed it as I was too full of pasta to move!

I had a week off and spent most of it in bed or on the water.

I feel like I need a holiday to recover as my body is falling apart.

August is looking good so far. Nucleur wind forcast for the weekend so discretion may be the better part of valour!

How are you all?

Sorry this is so boring! Every day is pretty much the same here. Sunny and windy. I get up go to work, windsurf, have a beer, eat, do stuff or go out then go to bed. Anyway you dress it up after the first few weeks it's boring.

Hopefully they'll be a few disasters in the next few weeks to write about!
Comments:
Just watched England pinch back the second test at the last moment. Fantastic.
Then Nick Suter called. Curiously I was thinking about him yesterday when I read that Jon Solly (his running hero) is going to the Durham 20th anniversary old git get together in September. Chris Hollingsworth too - although he seems keener than most to find old friends. He did have some didn't he?
Otherwise work seems to be dragging on forever until our holiday last week in August. Jessi got grade 2 piano last week and had a day at the local newspaper thanks to winning an essay writing competition.
Take care of yourself (bits falling off don't look too good).
Simes.
Note no mention of whether you're getting any. Bugger there I go again!

BORING!!! ...get up go to work, windsurf, have a beer, eat, etc...(OK maybe to read) Compare it with
get up drive 65 miles to work, sit at a desk, drive 65 miles home, don't drink beer!

There is also a challenge waiting for when you return - 5000mtrs on the concept II. I managed 20.33 before my knee op. Which is starting to get better - should time it just in time to out row you!!!!!!!

Peace.

Cheers Si, got the mail you sent Nick, you're not wrong about a bumch of old farts!

Love to all the family, will see you when I get back.

Anonymous (or should I say Nic?!). 500m, in my prime about 19 mins. We'll see!
